Vladivostok Air is rapidly developing, increasing production volumes, operating new homemade aircraft Tu-204300, implementing new international standards to passenger service, developing domestic and international routes and reconstructing domestic passenger terminal of Vladivostok airport on a large scale aiming at total area increase up to 2,500 sq. m by the end of 2006.
The terminal reconstruction project is handed in two stages so that not to interfere continuous departing and arriving passengers service. The first stage implies reconstruction of the second level, area enlargement and baggage delivery area reconstruction on the first floor. The second stage will include reconstruction of the first level and basement.
The second level of domestic terminal previously used as a departure lounge is closed for reconstruction, which poses certain inconveniences to passengers and generally worsen service. The airline understands the situation and has published information about the reconstruction aiming, first of all, at passenger service improvement, in press, explaining Primorye people the reasons for the temporal inconveniences and prospects.
Vladivostok Air realizes the importance of the modifications and since the design concept development stage has taken into consideration modern construction technologies, internal facilities and improvement of the terminal comfort and attractiveness as the air gates and landmark of Primorsky krai.

The second reconstruction stage, which is supposed to be completed in November 2006, implies reconstruction of registration area where 8 registration desks will be installed instead of 5 presently available. Modern baggage handling line of Logan brand will be installed in the area.

Wide-screen plasma and LC panels will be installed all over the terminal for flight schedules delivery, current information services and satellite TV programs broadcasting.
Upon the reconstruction domestic passenger terminal of Vladivostok airport its handling capacity will double. General contractor of the terminal reconstruction project is KFK Repairs and Construction Company.
