Tu-204-300 on ILA 2006 International Aerospace Ahow, Berlin

One of the largest international aerospace shows ILA-2006 was held in Berlin Airport Schenefeld from May 16th to 21st 2006. The prestigious biannual exposition of aircrafts has a special status in Europe and is a counterpart of Russian Aviation Show MAX.

This year a large Russian delegation headed by Chief of Russian Agency for Industry Boris Aleshin arrived in Germany on board Russian long-and-middle range liner Tu-204-300 bearing side number RA-64040 of Vladivostok Air. This was the very first flight of the aircraft model from Russia to European Union country.

During the exhibition Vladivostok Air craft was visited by many delegations, experts and common people. Tu-204-300, with its modern comfortable compartment and compliance to the most rigid European aviation requirements, arose vivid interest among the audience.

Presently Vladivostok Air fleet has four liners of this type operated for regular flights Vladivostok — Moscow, Vladivostok — St.Petersburg, Vladivostok — Ekaterinburg, Vladivostok — Seoul, Vladivostok — Niigata, and Vladivostok — Beijing flight to be launched from May 29th. In 2005 the airline signed a Memo of Intentions prescribing purchase of two more Tu-204-300 by the end of 2007.

After the Russian delegation visit to Germany Chief of Russian Agency for Industry Boris Aleshin send a grateful letter to Director General Vladimir Saibel with personal thanks to Vladimir Saibel and Vladivostok Air staff for the professionalism in providing a special flight to the Russian delegation, which participated in ILA 2006 International Aerospace Show in Berlin.
