Epiphany Temple construction in Artyom is almost completed.

Guardian Council members, bishopric representatives, local and regional mass media journalists and citizens participated in the occasion.

Guardian Council Chairman Vladimir Saibel: "Finish works in the temple basement are almost completed. The basement will accommodate a refrectory, an accounting office and a library, beneficiary's office and other personnel facilities. Upon dedication of the first floor the hall presently used for divine services will serve for christening. The first floor has got metal entrance doors and is under finishing now. The yard is being developed, enclosure abutment is being decorated with natural stone, flowerbeds and new gates have been installed. We believe that the temple will be ready by this autumn. I am happy to realize that our dreams are coming true today taking the beautiful shapes of the historical and architecture memorial where the believers may unite".

Construction of the Epiphany Temple was launched in 2001 on a joint initiative of JSC Vladivostok Air Director General Vladimir Saibel and other local business leaders. Since then citizens have witnessed the basement commissioning at the first construction stage, the temple overarching and providing with bells. In November 2004 people admired the first chimes, when completion of the next construction stage was announced by a peal of bells.

Earlier Vladivostok Air Director General Vladimir Saibel was awarded with Russian Orthodox Church Order of Reverend Seraphim of Sarov for contribution to the Artyom Epiphany Temple construction.

The Epiphany Temple designers and builders won the first prizes of Primorye and Far East Architecture 2006 Festival. The X Far East Architecture 2006 Festival awarded the temple Guardian Council Chairman, deputy of Primorye Legislative, Vladivostok Air Director General Assembly Vladimir Saibel and a group of architects and builders with Gold Diplomas.
