The number of the passengers carried by the company`s own fleet has increased by 2.7%, at the same time the passenger turnover has increased by 8.9%. The number of regular flights has increased by 7.5%. Cargo turnover has increased by 7%. Production incomes have increased by 23.8%, while the clear profit was twice as much as the same period of the year of 2005. During the eight months passed, the company has launched several new routes: Vladivostok — Beijing, Vladivostok — Kitakyushyu, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk — Dalyan, Ekaterinburg — Tyanzin, Moscow — Istanbul, Moscow — Sochi, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky — Osaka.

The reconstruction of the internal flights terminal of Vladivostok airport is close to the final stage. The first stage of renovation has already been completed: the second floor has been renovated (its space enlarged) and the first-floor baggage-claim area reconstructed. New waiting halls, transit zone and baggage-claim have already been put into operation. The completion of the final stage is planned in the end of the year of 2006.

The other top-priority goals of the company is fleet modernization. For now, “Vladivostok Air” is the world`s and Russia`s only operator of TU–204–300, the Russian medium and long distance vessels, owing four vessels. The company`s TU–204–300 have successfully overcame the summer seasonal load on the following direct regular routes: Vladivostok — Moscow, Vladivostok — Seoul, Vladivostok — Ekaterinburg, Vladivostok — Saint Petersburg, Moscow — Irkutsk. Passengers and the staff gave positive comments to the new comfortable air liners.

The next stage of the fleet modernization is the purchase of A-320 airplanes on the basis of leasing. The first vessel should arrived in November 2006. It`s planned that these vessels will substitute for TU–154s that are less economical than the new ones. A-320 airplanes will serve the most popular foreign routes: Vladivostok — Seoul — Bangkok, Vladivostok — Seoul — Singapore, Vladivostok — Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky — Ancoridge — Seattle.
