This value is far above the average helicopter flight hours of Russian airlines abroad. The major operations of Primorye helimen is transportation of suspended cargo by Mi-8 and Ka-32 to hard-to-reach areas, in particular, equipment for oil and gas companies, golden-bearing mines, order of unique complexity requiring rich experience. For instance, power transmission poles installation in highlands at 3-3.5 thousand meters, drilling rigs assembling for oil and gas exploration and production.

Mi-8 of the airline was assigned not long ago to install latest model conditioners on the top of the most important building in the country, Governmental Building in business center of Papua New Guinea capital Port Moresby. Confidentiality in the professionalism of Russian pilots is relies on long-term friendly relationships between the airline and Papua New Guinea government. Vladivostok Air is the only Russian company holding its positions on the country market for about 17 years since August 1990.

Work in Papua New Guinea is performed on a continuous basis, in shifts, crews of 18 rotate every three months carrying equipment, helicopters and machines required for the works.

Last September business contract for similar works was executed between Vladivostok Air and Al Amyal Aviation Services (FZE), a certified helicopter operator in Sudan and other African and Arabic countries. Under the transaction terms and conditions the airline let out for lease for five years Mi-8AMT and Mi-8MTB and provides them with crews and maintenance personnel.

Russian helicopters are popular due to their performance, which gives considerable advantages in reliability and simplicity of service as compared to foreign analogues.
