The first regular flight Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk – Khabarovsk – Saint-Petersburg was made successfully!
Vladivostok Air held presentation of its new regular flight XF465 Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk – Khabarovsk – Saint-Petersburg in Khomutovo Airport (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) on June 18.
The event was started by the meeting at Tu-204-300 airstairs. Passengers of the first flight were congratulated by Sergey Goev, General Director of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport, and Mikhail Morozov, Director of Vladivostok Air Representative Office in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Sergey Fathulin, the first passenger to check in for the flight, was given a set of gifts from Vladivostok Air. All the other passengers of the flight also received souvenirs from the airline, journalists were offered an excursion on board Tu-204-300. The tape was cut, the first 137 passengers boarded the plane and departed for the North capital of Russia at 9.30 am. After that a press-conference was held in the airport terminal, attended by management of FSUE Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport, OJSC Airport Service and OJSC Vladivostok Air.
The flight Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk – Khabarovsk – Saint-Petersburg is very convenient for those wishing to visit one of the most beautiful cities in Russia and to appreciate its unique architecture and world renown places of interest, royal magnificence of Hermitage, shining fountains of Peterhof and grand bridges over the Neva river. The aircraft can accommodate 142 passengers (8 business class and 134 economy class seats). The cabin with its video and audio entertainment, air conditioning and comfortable seats has everything to make the flight most relaxing for the passengers. Flight XF465 will be performed on Wednesdays and Sundays, fare from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Saint-Petersburg is 8890 rubles up (taxes and fees excluded). Tickets are available from booking offices and airline website at http://www.vladivostokavia.ru. Departure time from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk is 9.30 am, landing in Khabarovsk at 11.10 am, arrival in Saint-Petersburg at 02.10 pm (local time). Vladivostok Air plans to launch a new flight Vladivostok – Komsomolsk-on-the-Amur – Moscow in the nearest future. The airline is going to enlarge the air transportation scope worldwide under its summer schedule.
