New flight of Vladivostok Air provided the three cities — Vladivostok, Komsomolsk-on-the-Amur and Moscow with air communication.
The new flight opening ceremony was held on July 1st in Komsomolsk-on-the-Amur Airport. This event was anticipated by local population as a holiday. Apron and runway were repaired, business hall and holding room were equipped, new uniform for the airport personnel was made, everything especially for the new convenient flight. The first Tu-204-300 with Primorye seagull on board landed in Komsomolsk-on-the-Amur strictly on the schedule. It was greeted by local government representatives and numerous mass media. Vladivostok Air was represented by Viacheslav Radyuk, Advertisement Office Manager, who said: "We are not newcomers in your airport, we used to make flights between Vladivostok and Komsomolsk-on-the-Amur on Yak-40. The time passed and we came back with the new aircraft and the new route". The first passenger who bought a ticket to Moscow was citizen of Komsomolsk-on-the-Amur Ivan Gorbach. Along with all the 138 passengers of the new flight he was given souvenirs to remember the flight on board Vladivostok Air airplane.
This is one of the eight new flights of Primorye airline summer schedule. Now Komsomolsk-on-the-Amur people can flight with Vladivostok Air to the capital and to Vladivostok. The flight is convenient for getting to the Black ocean coast and Europe through Moscow and connecting Vladivostok Air international flight. Besides, Vladivostok is the dispatch point for flights to Asia Pacific Rim countries. One can easily get to different cities of Japan, China, Vietnam, Republic of Korea and Thailand by Vladivostok Air regular flights departing from the airport. Flights from Vladivostok to Komsomolsk-on-the-Amur will be made on Tuesdays and Fridays, return flights will start on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Tariff for this flight leg is 1990 rubles up. The new Vladivostok Air flight is cheap and convenient. Departure time from Vladivostok is 11:40, arrival in Komsomolsk-on-the-Amur one hour and a half after the take-off, much faster than traveling by train all day round.
Twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays passengers can take 14:40 flight from Komsomolsk-on-the-Amur to Moscow and arrive in the capital at 16:15 local time. Return flight departure time is 18:15. Fare is 8890 rubles up. The airline offers large number of tickets for the flight at the lowest price.
The new flight will be performed by modern Russian-manufactured aircraft Tu-204-300. The aircraft can accommodate 142 passengers (8 business and 134 economy class seats). Passenger cabins are equipped with audio and video entertainment, comfortable seats and effective conditioning systems.
