A new summer flight schedule.

back to list

Vladivostok Air will open seven new air flights in its summer schedule.

The new flight schedule of the airline will take effect on March 29 and will be valid till October 24, 2009. The key point of the schedule is that the airline is building a summer route network from the airports of Khabarovsk, Moscow and Ekaterinburg in addition to the native Vladivostok airport and will make those airport home bases for its aircrafts. This will enable Vladivostok Air to form a highly effective route network.

Launching a direct flight Khabarovsk — Moscow departing four times a week is, perhaps, the most interesting news of Vladivostok Air summer flight schedule. For the first time the airline starts its own air transportation on this important route. The flight will leave Khabarovsk on Tuesday and Saturday at 01:50 p.m. Return flight from Moscow airport Vnukovo on Monday and Thursday will start at 04:25 (local time is specified for each airport).

Generally, Khabarovsk will play a significant role of a new hub airport on Summer 2009 schedule. The airline will perform domestic flights required for Khabarovsk passengers from local airport, including Khabarovsk — Novosibirsk — Sochi and Khabarovsk — Ekaterinburg — Krasnodar. Flight are also arranged from Khabarovsk to Saint Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Yakutsk, Anadyr, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Magadan, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Vladivostok.

Within its new schedule Vladivostok Air will continue performing the popular direct air flights from the capital of Primorye to the largest cities of Russia — Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Daily flight on Vladivostok — Moscow route is also on the schedule. Departure time is 02:45 p.m., arrival in the capital at 05:30 p.m. Return flight from Vladivostok to Moscow at 07:50 p.m., arrival at 12:00 of the next day. The Airbus A330 expected by the airline by May 2009 will be first of all used for this route in the beginning of summer hot season. Another popular flight Vladivostok — Saint Petersburg — Vladivostok by Tu-204-300 will be performed three times a week.

Vladivostok is also represented by domestic flight to Khabarovsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Magadan, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yakutsk and Irkutsk. On March 30 a new flight Vladivostok — Krasnoyarsk — Ekaterinburg — Krasnoyarsk will be launched, while Vladivostok — Novosibirsk — Krasnodar return flight remains on the schedule.

Within its Summer 2009 schedule Vladivostok Air will perform international flights on the marketable business and tourist routes from Vladivostok and Khabarovsk to South East Asia countries including Republic of Korea, People's Republic of China, Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Japan. Flights from Vladivostok will be performed to Seoul, Busan, Beijin, Harbin, Hanoi, Niigata and Toyama. Air communication will be arranged between Khabarovsk and four foreign cities such as Seoul, Beijin, Harbin and Niigata.

The new flight schedule will contain traditional regular flights from Moscow to Abakan by the European liner A320, new flight from Moscow to Blagoveshchensk and a renewed flight from Moscow to Komsomolsk-on-the-Amur by Tu-204-300. It should be mentioned that all the Moscow flight passengers in the airline can enjoy free transfer by Express Vnukovo train from the airport to Kievsky railway station and back.

All the airline flights will be performed by Tu-204-300, Airbus A330 and A320. The other days Vladivostok Air fleet will be replenished with another A320.
