The airline received the fifth medium-range Airbus A320.
On March 22, 2009 Vladivostok Air red welcomed the new Airbus A320. This type airline with the side number VQ-BCG is the fifth one in the airline fleet. From February 2007 this A320 has recommended itself during extensive operation in Vladivostok Air flight due to the high economic and fuel efficiency for the medium-range distances (up to 5 hours flight time). These properties of the new liner complimented by the passenger cabin equipped with comfortable seats, in-flight climate control system and entertainment options enable Vladivostok Air to successfully compete with other Russian carriers.
Airbus A320 leased to the airline has a spacious multivariant comfortable passenger cabin layout for 160 economy class seats and two CFM engines. The layout is unique as it can be quickly adjusted to customer`s needs.
Vladivostok Air is going to operate А320 mostly for its international flights from Vladivostok to the airports of Republic of Korea, Japan, China and Vietnam and for the airline domestic and international flights from Moscow, Ekaterinburg and Khabarovsk.
This year the airline plans to acquire the sixth А320, and now Vladivostok Air is getting ready to welcome its first long haul wide-body Airbus A330.
