Vladivostok Air has considerably increased volume of transportations for the period of January-June.
Despite the general tendency of considerable volume reduction of transportations in Russian and world civil aircraft in volumes, Vladivostok Air almost has increased the financial and production indicators by third.
In comparison with the similar period of 2008 business performance factors of airline demonstrate growth and positive dynamics. So, passenger traffic of Vladivostok Air has increased on 36,6 % for 6 months of 2009. At the same time the quantity of the transported passengers has increased on 28,8 %, and the factor of armchair occupancy has grown for 9,5 %.
Level of Vladivostok Airs incomes from all kinds of activity in comparison with the similar period has increased on 38,1 %.
The growth of financial and production indicators of Vladivostok Air is caused by fleet network optimization, transition to operation of new type aircrafts.
In the summer schedule of this year Vladivostok Air operates with aircraft fleet of Tu-204-300, Airbus A320, and also wide-bodied long haul Airbus A330, which was received in May. In general, aircrafts Tu-154 are used for reserve providing. During autumn 2009 — spring 2010 the company is planning to buy four aircrafts Airbus: two of A330 type and two A320 type.
