There are restrictions on transportation of liquids, gels and aerosols in hand luggage of air passengers. Restriction extends on:

  • Water and other drinks, soups, syrups;
  • Creams, lotions and oils;
  • Perfumes;
  • Sprays;
  • Gels, including hair and shower gel;
  • Contents of pressurized containers, including shaving foam, other foams and deodorants;

Liquids in containers with volumes of more than 100 ml are not permitted for transportation even in case, if the container is only partially filled.

Exclusions for transportation are made for medication, baby food and special diet requirements.

Be ready while inspecting you can be asked to prove you will need these items during the flight.

Liquids, purchased either at the Duty Free trade shops in the airports or on board of the aircraft, must be packaged in safely closed (sealed) plastic bag, that provides identification of access to the contents of the bag during the flight, on which there is an authentic confirmation, that this purchase was done in airport shops of duty free trade or on board of the aircraft at the day (days) of the trip.

Liquids, purchased either at the Duty Free trade shops in the airports or on board of the aircraft can be carried aboard in hand luggage in large, than is stipulated, volumes. Thus, if drinks have been sold in specially sealed packing, do not break its integrity before inspection, otherwise packing contents can be confiscated during examination at check point.

Attention!

All containers with a liquid, not meeting the specified requirements, should be handed over in baggage before registration. The liquids withdrawn by security service during examination cannot be repeatedly enclosed to the already registered luggage.

To facilitate examination and to avoid hindrances of the x-ray image, the above-named plastic bags should be presented separately from other hand luggage, clothes or the large electronic equipment (for example, the notebook) for separate x-ray scanning.
